Advocacy & Accountability
WCVEF believes in the power of communication to protect our unique quality of life. Contacting your elected officials and sharing your values and positions with them is how we build and maintain critical relationships with policy-makers. We work with lawmakers at the state level and in a growing number of counties and cities to ensure attention to conservation issues. We also report back to the voters on officials' actions, or inaction, on these priorities. Maintaining abundant wildlife, clean water and air for the future depends on us all working with our elected and appointed government officials.
