Voting Equipment
Wyoming's 23 counties use a total of 11 different machinery systems to collect and count votes, although a growing number are moving toward paper ballots marked with a special ink and read by optical scanners. More than one-third of the counties now use one of two optical scanning election systems, while the others use punch cards or lever machines.
